Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Mindful Echo Android app (“the App”) collects, why, and the choices you have. The App is published by BlueFireLab (“we”, “us”).
1. No account required
You can use the App without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
2. Information stored only on your device
- Favourite audio tracks and quotes
- Recently played tracks, listening history and playback positions
- Your settings (for example language and history length)
This information stays on your device and is never sent to us. It is deleted when you clear it in the App (More → Settings), clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App.
3. Content delivery
Meditation audio, images and the content list are downloaded from our content delivery provider ([PROVIDER, e.g. Cloudflare]). Like any web server, the provider receives your IP address and basic technical information (such as the app version) to deliver the files, and may keep short-term access logs for security and reliability. We do not collect listening statistics and do not build a profile of you.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and app interaction data to serve, measure and (where permitted) personalise ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another region where consent is required, the App asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in More → Privacy options. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
Ads are never shown on the full-screen player and are not shown in the middle of a meditation session.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not collect health data, contacts, photos, microphone audio or precise location.
- Saving a quote image to your gallery or sharing it happens only when you choose to do so.
6. Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
All content is delivered over encrypted HTTPS connections.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to processing. Because we do not collect personal information ourselves, most requests concern advertising data held by Google; you can still contact us at any time.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on this page.
